Cameraphone is getting used more and more…

I’m going away this weekend with 4 other people and it occured to me, i need game, or something that could be played over the course of the weekend, it needs to be simple, silly, maybe with forfeits or the like. I only really have rugby as an example though and those were predominantly drinking based, inevitably i suppose.

Such as, there’s a gold ball going round if you can put it in someones drink without them seeing they neck their drink and you neck yours if you get caught. Though be free to tell me that it’s just me that likes the idea if you want. I just thought it might be a nice idea, i’d rather stay away from any sort of points scoring. Hmmm is anyone there? What do you think? Hello?! Is this switched on?

Digital watches are inexpensive and precise. But, this precision comes at a cost- a quick glance at a digital watch displaying 12:58 does not convey the very human time scale of “it’s about 1 p.m.”. Digital watches make it all too easy to miss a meeting believing it is closer to noon than to one. Analog watches are better matched to human needs, but suffer from mechanical problems, difficulty matching the hour tick-mark to the hour hand, and poor legibility in the dark.

About Time watch brings analog time values to the digital
world. As shown to the right, the About Time LCD prominently
displays the nearest hour in the center of the watch. Above and
below the hour indicator are lines for the display of text. Together,
the text and hour numerals give an approximate, and appropriate
measure of the current time. One glance says it all.

The Talus Watch. Thus, the time between 5:57 and 6:03 is shown as around 6 O’Clock and 6:20 to 6:25 is nearly 6:30. Genius idea. I want one. Makes a lot of sense, because you never know what other peoples clocks are saying.

I bought the Postsecret book today, finally getting around to it after umming and ahhing and Amazon having it and not. I got a couple of Moleskine journals while i was at it, it took it to the free delivery and they were half the price everywhere else charges.

Feeling a lot better today aswell which is good and i’m glad i took another day off today. I’ve got my Euro Millions tickets, in three hours i will have won £100 million. That’ll be nice. A list of things i’d buy:

hmmmm a house with

1. with a a bouldering wall, probably indoor and outdoor
2. and a bowling lane or two
3. lots techno-gubbins
4. sauna
5. probably a pool like the one in the Hilton Cardiff (nice pool)
6. four poster bed

and a house with none of the above i reckon.

I really need to sort my categories out and i don’t know if i’m happy with the template, seems a bit top-heavy; you think? Apparently i have 134 uncategorised posts. Hmmm, i don’t know if i fancy rectifying that or not. Maybe later…

It would appear that bowling is now and will be (Monday, Friday and Saturday excluded) prohibitively expensive. £10 for 2 games and £12 for 3, not feeling it. Maybe i’m just being cheap. When we roll (i mean bowl) we always try to get 4,5,6 games in - mostly because we lack any consistency and well 2 or 3 games just doesn’t seem enough. Been like that for a while and there’s no going back it seems. So tonight Rich and i played some pool. Yeah, that’s been a while… ha.

Also we need to go climbing again…

So what would i class this post as, general? Hmm.

Also i would like to formally start something. Things that girls do that make them more fanciable (i’ll work on that bit);

• Any sort of puzzle, crossword etc. I mean how often do you see girls doing them?

Not enough in my opinion. That’s one.

I’ve got a can of Jack and coke that Alex bought me in Oz and sent back to me. I’ve got that can from, nearly a year ago now (correct me if i’m wrong) and i’ve had it and i’ve not drunk it. I think to start with it was because i just didn’t want to waste it. Like i was waiting for a special occasion - i know it’s only a can but still, that’s how i felt. Then Jon’s little sister bought me a bottle back from Australia Canada and i was rewatching Sideways and there’s a scene where Maya and Miles are talking about the special wines they have. Not much of a collection really. I
haven’t had the wallet for that, so
I sort of live bottle to bottle. But
I’ve got a couple things I’m saving.

Cheval Blanc.

It’s so true i realised. If you wait for a special occasion you’ll be waiting forever. So with that in mind i drank it (with a little ice) and it was glorius. With thanks to those that made it possible.
That said i only drank the bottle i still have the can :/

Am relative impressed with this panorama shot, it has to be viewed in the original size to get i think. The lights don’t line up and i’m not sure what’s happening with the road markings. Oh yeah and i put the end of the pier in twice, oops.

Something rubbish - this cold. That started on Wednesday, Thursday last week and is now dragging on more then is funny. I keep waking up feeling rubbish and today there was coughs and lots of sneezing.

Something good - youyesyou.net new t-shirts and valentines cards (though i think i prefer last years!) This is my favourite t-shirt by faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar. :/
