ok, the Gmail/Gtalk integration is just damn cool and it just works. So, it means you can chat using the Gtalk network via your Gmail page. Lush.

So got the first set of stuff through from Worcester regarding my PGCE. So, the term starts September 11th (that’s 196 days). I have a now extensive reading list to go through, there’s one of five books that i should read as a general preparation, a science and english books that i must go through (basically, the basics) and a list that has the note - ‘the following are highly recommended titles’ - i am taking that to read, read these or else. Mum is seeing if she can get them from the library at work, i’m not buying them. I’m just not. I think i bought, well i don’t think i bought one in three years at Sheff.

Anyway, quite looking forward to it really. Everything. Scared in equal measure of course.

And also, downloading BBC shows is really quite difficult. It is like they don’t want you to do it and instead want to throw Chris Moyles ‘podcast’ at you. It is do-able though, apparently i heard of a friend’s cousin’s brother’s piano tuner. errrr honest.

So, i got my place and start my PGCE Primary 5-11 years with extended subject study science this September and i really can’t wait. There was me thinking the interview didn’t go so well.

Dell has joined the domain name hall of shame, alongside such notables as Microsoft, the Easy Group and BAA, for its flagrantly unjustified hounding of website www.dellwebsites.com.

What a bunch of fucks. Incidentally, as mentioned, Dell’s revenue was up 20% to $23 billion and that’s just for the first half of the year. Have they really got nothing better to do with the money then spend it on lawyers who say:

the owner of Dellwebsites is committing “an act of parasitism” and “creating a risk of confusion” between himself and the online PC vendor Dell. It wants the domain signed over to it, at the owner’s cost.

I’m funding them too. :(
