- I don’t think I liked The Secret Diary of a Call Girl the tone felt all wrong. I liked the blog better.
- Preschoolers’ feelings
- Straightheads - It’s not a good film. At all. Not as good as Severance which at least had a comedy element. I found the plot overly complicated (which says a lot) and there was too much dialogue, most of it could have been cut out.
- BT customer service is either quick and efficient or so awful as to make you homicidal. Quick tip - if you need to ring about a new connection, checking on the status of your order it is simpler and quicker to try shouting out the window. I say that only half in jest, you wait an hour (every time) and then they don’t understand you, nor are able to help. Instead, being serious for a moment, if you really do need a new connection ring anyone but the option for a new connection. It’ll be the wrong dept. but you’ll get through straightaway (we got through to broadband, disconnections almost instantly) and they might be able to help. I’m not a businessman but you really shouldn’t leave NEW customers hanging on for an hour everytime they try to contact you.(Also, to the person who cut shortcuts when taking our order and thus precipitated this - you’re a bad man.)(Also, the new system is awful. A BT man came out for the flat next to us and apparently the new system means that he was unable to help us with a new order/connection. Something that he would have been able to do in the past. Progress eh?)
