Taking the time
One minute it’s Wednesday and I’m scoffing a bacon and brie panini before heading down to Chepstow and a lovely time with the Thorogoods – though it felt like I was there longer!
Then, an evening with Chris and Jenn a day in Worcester with PGCE people talking shop and then a couple of hours climbing.
Then a quick lunch and some time watching The Office on a comfy sofa and then some more climbing.
Suddenly it’s Saturday evening but the weather is glorious and the time has flown by because I’ve had a whole lot of fun. Plus I’ve not been on Twitter or Facebook since Wednesday (!) and I don’t really mind.
Didn’t think I’d enjoy climbing as much as I did. A complete lack of finger strength and the arms get tired really quickly but… There’s still that same fear there, that surge of adrenalin and the high of completing a route. Awesome stuff. Hoping to keep that up.
