Practicing simple living | Unclutterer

Along these lines, simplicity isn’t a goal or an end result. Simplicity is a means to an end, with the ultimate destination being a remarkable life focused on what matters most to you. You don’t practice simplicity for simplicity’s sake, you practice simplicity to clear the distractions that get in the way of the life you desire.

That sums up why I’m trying to change the way I’m living. Minimalist, simplicity, zen – whatever you want to call it. It’s not the end result, it’s how I mean to find a way of living that I am truely happy with.

(I see it sometimes, moments when I feel like I’m doing it. It’s challenging these ingrained, instinctive, natural actions – that’s the hard bit.)
