What ties you to a place?
I mean, what keeps you there? Jobs or friends or liking the area?
Just because C (housemate) said she thought I’d move back down south when the mum and dad’s flat was free again. My first response was that I wouldn’t and would instead stay here (in Manchester). It’s just, the more I think about it the more I don’t see why not. I’ve been here a year now and yet I still don’t feel tied to the place.

Was just thinking about blogging about ‘belonging’ to Worcester – we’ve been here five and a half years now. It’s only in the last year that I’ve felt like I might stay.
Just at the time when jobs have basically deserted the area…
