Two things are lacking at the moment. Funds and work. Which leaves me with plenty of the time during the day trying to find things to do that don’t involves spending money. Presently, I find that stopping myself leaving the house is the most proactive way I’ve found to achieve this. It also means that I’ve taken on tidying my room properly.
Before it has also bounced between appearing, relatively, tidy by boy standards* and being a bit of a mess. The thing is that when it has been tidy before, I’ve never been completely happy. Things have been tidied away and not ever really sorted out. So I have had piles of papers (statements and letters and old lesson plans and resources from courses and old uni notes) that have been tidied into boxes (that I bought!). Out of sight and out of mind was the order of the day.
So, I am not at least trying to get rid of the things I don’t need and putting the things that I’m keeping in a more organised manner. It does mean that my room looks like I’ve been robbed. at present it would be tidier if I had been robbed.
On the plus side I made a rubber band ball!
*Everyone knows male and female definitions of tidy are quite different.
