How do you fight the feeling that someone else would do your job better?

By accepting that people will always do your job differently, some parts more successfully and some parts less so.
You have no control over the way other people might do your job, but you do have control over the way you do it. That’s where your focus should be.
What’s more, nobody gets everything right. Nobody.
(I am a generalist managing a team of specialists. I have to remind myself of what I just said up there on a daily basis.)
Keep my head down and keep going. If it can’t be helped, it isn’t worth fretting over. As JH says, everyone approaches things differently. And different ? better.
As backup, plan to kill them, just in case.
That question mark should be a nice “does not equal” sign.
