One day I’ll start doing the cryptic crossword.

I sit and do the cryptic crossword with my Dad from time to time. I still can’t kick it off on my own though. You have to somehow get the hang of how the compiler’s mind works and learn the way the ‘rules’ of the clues.
(And 3 down is ‘Rip Van Winkle’)
