Team WOD

Boom. The shoulder to overhead were a real challenge.

More though, I like the way Crossfit challenges me. There’s a fear there – how much weight do I put on the barbell, what will it feel like when I’ve shattered – but also the feeling that I’ve overcome something when I finish. I feel like these things are starting to transition in my life too – stop thinking you can’t do it. Just get up and try.

(On a side note, I really like this blog > http://crossfitlisbeth.com/, I mean it’s very much a Crossfit blog but I like it because she’s upfront about things.

It’s not the jump that is important here, it’s the conquering of the fear. The jump might save your workout, but the ability to tell your fear to go to hell can change your life. So many people, in so many ways in life, are scared to do what they want to do. Don’t be one of them. Step up. Do what you fear to do. Sure, it will be scary. But when you’re done? You’ll look back and see nothing but vapor. You will own this life you live. You will own your fear, instead of your fear owning you. You will own yourself.
